What we treat

Heart & Vascular Health

Circulation determines what every other system in your body receives. Ozone therapy and targeted infusions are used to support oxygen utilization, circulation, and vascular integrity: the groundwork longevity is built on.

Why does vascular health matter for everything else?

Every therapy we deliver depends on circulation to reach the tissue that needs it. Vascular function is upstream of cognitive performance, recovery capacity, energy, and tissue repair.

It is also one of the areas where conventional care tends to wait for a threshold event rather than optimize the trajectory.

What does treatment involve?

Ozone protocols are used to support oxygen utilization and circulatory function. Custom infusions address the inflammatory and nutrient markers identified in your panel.

This work is coordinated with your cardiologist or primary physician where you have one. We are additive to your existing care, not a replacement for it.

The workup

What gets evaluated for cardiovascular support?

We characterize your vascular picture with markers that go beyond a standard lipid screen, because "your cholesterol is fine" and "your cardiovascular biology is performing well" are different statements.

Lipid detail
ApoB, Lp(a), lipid particle number and size
Inflammatory
hs-CRP, homocysteine, oxidative stress markers
Metabolic
fasting insulin, HbA1c, cortisol
Functional
blood pressure trends, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), recovery metrics

Panels are tailored to your history at consultation; the groups above are representative, not exhaustive.

What does vascular support involve here?

Protocols are built around ozone therapy and targeted infusions, coordinated with your cardiologist where you have one, and judged against repeat markers.

  1. 01

    Consultation and extended panel

History, family history, and the extended cardiovascular panel. If anything in the workup indicates acute risk, the next step is cardiology, immediately and not optionally.

  2. 02

    Protocol design around your markers

Ozone protocols where oxygen utilization and circulatory support are the target, infusions built around the inflammatory and nutrient findings, and lifestyle levers with real evidence behind them.

  3. 03

    Scheduled treatment course

Sessions are delivered in the clinic over a defined course. Nothing is open-ended; every course has a review date.

  4. 04

Repeat markers, shared with your physician

The panel is re-run and, with your consent, shared with your cardiologist or primary physician so your whole care team sees the same data.

Signals

Signals that bring patients in

These are the patterns we hear most often from patients who end up being good candidates.

  • Cardiovascular risk markers trending the wrong way
  • Cold hands and feet, or poor circulation
  • Endurance that has dropped off
  • Family history you want to get ahead of
  • Longevity-focused patients optimising early

Where we draw the line

What this is not

This is preventive and supportive work. It is not cardiac treatment, and pretending otherwise would be dangerous.

  • Chest pain, arrhythmia symptoms, or anything acute: emergency care, not a consultation
  • Diagnosed cardiac disease is managed by your cardiologist; we are additive, never a substitute
  • We do not independently adjust most cardiac medications; where your markers improve, any change to some prescriptions is made together with your prescriber
  • Heart failure and structural disease are outside what supportive protocols address
The honest read

Where does the evidence stand?

The strongest cardiovascular evidence belongs to the fundamentals: lipid management, blood pressure, glucose regulation, exercise, and sleep. Ozone therapy has a body of research around oxygen utilization and circulatory function that is smaller and earlier-stage, and we present it as exactly that.

Our position is that supportive protocols earn their place alongside the fundamentals, never instead of them. A patient who leaves with better-managed markers and an ozone protocol has gotten our actual recommendation; a patient who wants the infusion without the fundamentals will hear us push back.

Everyone at this office is wonderful to work with. Great communication from both Dr and staff. They even accommodated a virtual visit for me while at our second home for the summer. Dr Southern is really considering all aspects of my treatment to dial in the best plan as we go. Making adjustments as needed etc.

I have been seeing Dr. Southern for the past couple of years almost and she is absolutely wonderful! I appreciate how thorough she is and how she takes the time to get to the root cause of things rather than just treating the symptoms.

Heart & Vascular Health, common questions

Does this replace my cardiologist?

No. If you have a cardiac condition, keep your cardiologist. Our work is designed to sit alongside conventional cardiac care, and Dr. Southern will tell you plainly when something belongs with your specialist.
