Our Services and Treatments

We provide comprehensive integrated treatments that support a variety of health concerns, including chronic fatigue, aging, joint pain, acute and chronic pain, chronic headaches and migraines, hormonal imbalances, nutrient deficiencies, and many more. Our team understands the impact these conditions can have on your quality of life, and are highly trained in a number of treatment options that are not only back by medical research, but have also been chosen for their safety and effectiveness.

Treatments we are proud to offer include:

Prolozone Therapy

Prolozone is a type of regenerative ozone treatment where a controlled mixture of vitamins, minerals, oxygen and ozone gas is injected into the tissues. Research shows that ozone boosts immune function, has significant benefits to cardiovascular and vascular systems, and contains anti-inflammatory properties as well. Ozone activates antioxidation and increases the production of nitric oxide, which helps improve oxygenation and increases blood flow. Improving blood oxygenation and circulation combats organ breakdown and other degenerative symptoms by stimulating tissue regeneration.  Whether in IV form or injected with prolozone, ozone helps our immune systems to not only fight off bad bacteria and infections, but also works as a preventative agent. Studies show Prolozone therapy improves rheological qualities of the blood, improves diuresis, increases oxygenation, and balances blood PH levels.

It can be used to treat a wide range of symptoms, including:

  • ligament and tendon injuries
  • arthritis
  • herniated discs
  • tissue degeneration
  • fibromyalgia and chronic pain
  • acute and chronic infections
  • macular degeneration
  • inflammatory conditions, including Crohn’s disease

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy harnesses your body’s natural healing processes by stimulating tissue regeneration and repair. It injects a concentrated solution of your own blood’s platelets to repair injured, damaged, or inflamed tissue. It works by taking a sample of your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge to separate out platelets (the blood cells that are crucial for clotting and healing). This layer of the blood that is rich with platelets also contains growth factors, which is then injected back into the body directly into the affected area, causing the body to increase production of reparative cells and speed up tissue regeneration.

Studies show that PRP can be effective for improving function and reducing inflammation and pain in cases of tendonitis, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, musculature and join injuries, arthritis, and many more. PRP has also been seen to increase collagen production and promote skin revitalization, making it highly beneficial for skin health and scar reduction. PRP also stimulates hair growth, making it an effective therapy for hair loss, hair fall out, hair thinning, and alopecia.

At Nascent, we also offer PRP microneedling, a cosmetic treatment that boosts collagen production by rolling small needles across the skin. PRP microneedling offers safe and effective support for aging-related symptoms, including fine lines and wrinkles, brightening and smoothing skin, diminishing acne scars, and reducing the effects of sun damage.

Trigger Point Injections

Trigger points are the areas where you body holds tension and stress in your muscles and fascia, causing those painful and all-too-familiar knots. Overtime, these trigger points can cause chronic pain, tension headaches, brain fog, fatigue, nerve damage and numbness, muscle weakness, decreased range of motion, and more. Trigger point injections (TPI) can help to alleviate muscle and myofascial pain, especially in the neck, shoulders, arms, back, and legs.

TPI solutions are typically made up of a mixture of local anesthetics that are injected directly into the muscle. They work by temporarily relaxing the affected muscles, which allows for more blood and oxygen to flow in. TPIs help to stimulate and replenish ATP production, which allows the muscle tissue to relax and lengthen, providing space for immune responses to go in and flush out any metabolic waste, which helps to break the pain-tension cycle. TPI can also greatly improve range of motion.

TPIs are a beneficial option for those who experience chronic trigger point pain and have not found symptom relief through over-the-counter medication or other therapies like massage or physical therapy. TPI is also ideal for those where exercise or physical therapy is not accessible due to pain or decreased range of motion. However, studies show that TPI’s benefits are significantly increased when combined with other modalities such as physical therapy, acupuncture, or stretching.

Botox Treatments

Most commonly known for treating facial symptoms such as fine lines and wrinkles, Botox’s benefits extend much farther than cosmetic purposes. Research shows it also provides effective support for:

  • chronic migraines
  • focal dystonia
  • cervical dystonia and neck muscle spasms
  • muscle spasticity
  • macular degeneration and dysfunction, including eye spasms, twitching, uncontrolled or excessive blinking, lazy eye, and strabismus
  • hyperhidrosis
  • bladder dysfunction and incontinence.

Botox consists of botulinum toxin A, a neurotoxin that temporarily blocks signals between nerves and muscles. This allows the muscle to relax, providing effective relief of tension and spasms at the muscular level while softening and smoothing skin.

At Nascent, we also offer Xeomin treatments. Similar to Botox, Xeomin treatments utilize the same botulinum toxin A neurotoxin to block signal receptors. Xeomin differs from Botox in that it has a more concise ingredient list, without all the accessory proteins that Botox has. Studies show that Xeomin has been seen to work in patients who have become unresponsive to other types of toxin treatments, like Botox.

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy

Hormone levels can decrease or become imbalanced throughout our lives for a variety of reasons, which can wreak havoc on our body’s vital systems. Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) replenishes any hormonal deficiencies by taking naturally derived hormones; restoring and rebalancing levels, and helps encourage the body to return to homeostatic functionality. Manufactured from plant-based sources, bioidentical hormones mimic those naturally produced by the body. This allows them to be easily absorbed and metabolized, making BHRT safe and effective. Studies show BHRT can help support a number of symptoms associated with hormonal imbalances, including:

  • restoring libido
  • increasing bone density
  • decreasing depression
  • decreasing anxiety
  • preventing memory loss
  • preventing macular degeneration, including glaucoma and cataracts
  • preventing muscle mass loss
  • improving sleep
  • alleviate menopausal symptoms including hot flashes, mood fluctuations, energy, and vaginal dryness

The Nascent team is highly trained in BHRT, having been certified as EvexiPEL providers, and trained by leading experts in pellet BHRT. As certified providers, Nascent gets exclusive access to proprietary hormone pellets.

IV Therapy

Intravenous (IV) therapy is a safe and effective way of restoring any nutritional deficiencies that may be impacting your health. These deficiencies can come from a number of factors, including diet or malabsorption issues such as Crohn’s disease, colitis, or IBS. IV therapy fills in any nutritional gaps by injecting a solution of essential vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals directly into the bloodstream. By bypassing the digestive system, IV therapy ensures that 100% of the nutrients are delivered faster and more efficiently to cells as a ready source of fuel, and the body is able to metabolize them and put them to work right away.

Research shows that IV therapy can benefit those with symptoms associated with:

  • adrenal dysfunction
  • dehydration
  • detoxification dysfunction
  • immune dysfunction including chronic infections
  • digestive and malabsorption dysfunction
  • hormonal imbalances

At Nascent Health we specialize in custom IV treatments that are personalized to your specific health needs. Whether you’re looking to boost energy, enhance immune function, improve your sleep, or help your body detox, we have an IV treatment that can be personalized to fit you.
